Corrections Policy

LustIcons is built from research across a changing public web. Accounts move, usernames change, sources disagree and mistakes can happen. This policy explains how we review and correct inaccurate or outdated information.

Last updated: September 25, 2026

The short version

If you find something on LustIcons that appears factually wrong, outdated or attributed to the wrong person, we want to know about it.

Send us the relevant LustIcons page, explain what appears incorrect and, where possible, provide information that helps us verify the correction.

Confirmed errors may be corrected, replaced or removed. When the evidence remains uncertain, we may investigate further or leave information unpublished rather than guess.

Our approach

Accuracy matters more than defending an old version of a page.

LustIcons profiles are intended to improve as better information becomes available.

If something is genuinely wrong, correcting it is part of maintaining a useful directory, not an exception to the process.

Section 01

Purpose of this policy

LustIcons researches publicly available information about adult performers and creators and organizes that information into structured profiles.

Even careful research cannot guarantee that every item remains accurate forever.

Public information may change because:

  • a performer changes a username or stage name;
  • an account is renamed, deleted or transferred;
  • a platform closes or changes its URLs;
  • an older source becomes outdated;
  • two people with similar usernames are incorrectly connected;
  • a public source contains inaccurate information; or
  • new evidence clarifies something that was previously uncertain.

This policy provides a consistent way to review those situations.

Section 02

What can be corrected?

We welcome reports concerning factual or identity-related issues, including:

Wrong performer identity Information, images or accounts have been connected to the wrong person.
Incorrect alias A stage name or username has been attributed to a performer incorrectly.
Outdated username A performer has changed names or currently uses a different public identity.
Wrong account A social, creator or platform account does not belong to the listed performer.
Broken or outdated link An external destination has moved, disappeared or no longer points to the intended profile.
Incorrect biography A publicly stated country, language, credit or other factual detail appears wrong.
Wrong image A photograph or profile image depicts a different person or has been attributed incorrectly.
Other factual error Another statement or connection can be shown to be inaccurate.
Section 03

Who may report an error?

Anyone may bring a possible factual error to our attention.

Reports may come from:

  • the performer concerned;
  • an authorized representative;
  • a photographer or account owner;
  • a platform representative;
  • a visitor who identifies an apparent mistake; or
  • another person with relevant information.

We may give additional weight to information supplied directly by the person concerned or by a source that can be independently verified.

You do not need to be the performer to report a simple factual error.

What matters most is whether the proposed correction can be reasonably verified.

Section 04

How to submit a correction

Correction and profile-review requests should be sent to:

LustIcons Corrections & Review
Email: [email protected]

A useful subject line is:

Correction Request – [performer name or LustIcons URL]

Please include as much of the following as reasonably possible:

  1. The exact LustIcons URL containing the information you believe is wrong.
  2. The specific information that should be corrected.
  3. What you believe the correct information is.
  4. Why the existing information is inaccurate or outdated.
  5. Supporting public information, where available, that helps us verify the correction.
  6. Your relationship to the matter, particularly if you are the performer or an authorized representative.
Section 05

How we review correction requests

Corrections are reviewed according to the nature of the issue and the available evidence.

1

Identify the exact issue

We locate the profile, field, image, alias, account or other item referenced in the report.

2

Review the existing basis

Where possible, we examine the public information that originally supported the published information.

3

Check the new information

We compare the proposed correction with current public sources, direct performer information and other relevant evidence.

4

Correct what can be established

Confirmed errors may be changed, removed, replaced or updated.

5

Leave uncertainty as uncertainty

If neither version can be established responsibly, we may remove the disputed detail or leave the relevant field incomplete rather than choose an unsupported answer.

Section 06

Mistaken identity

Mistaken identity is one of the highest-priority correction issues for LustIcons.

Similar usernames, recycled account names and multiple aliases can sometimes make two different people appear connected when they are not.

If an account, photograph, alias or other information has been attached to the wrong performer, please identify exactly which connection is incorrect.

Priority issue

Where credible information indicates that two different people may have been incorrectly merged, we may restrict or remove the disputed connection while it is reviewed.

Section 07

Names, aliases and usernames

Performer identities can change over time.

A correction may be appropriate when:

  • an alias belongs to another person;
  • a former alias has been incorrectly connected;
  • the current primary name no longer reflects the performer’s established public identity;
  • a username has been misspelled;
  • an account name has changed; or
  • new reliable information clarifies the relationship between two identities.

An older alias does not necessarily need to be deleted simply because it is no longer used. Where it remains historically relevant and reliably connected, it may remain listed as an alias rather than the primary name.

Section 08

External accounts and links

External profiles frequently change.

A link may need correction because:

  • the account has been renamed;
  • the account has been deleted;
  • the username now belongs to another person;
  • the platform has changed its URL structure;
  • an older profile is no longer associated with the performer; or
  • the original identity connection was incorrect.

Confirmed incorrect links may be updated or removed.

Section 09

Biographical information

Public biographies can contain conflicting or outdated information.

Where a factual biographical detail is challenged, we may compare:

  • current public profiles;
  • official or performer-controlled sources;
  • published interviews;
  • reliable independent references;
  • the date and context of older information; and
  • other relevant public evidence.

If available sources cannot support a biographical claim with reasonable confidence, removing the claim may be more accurate than choosing between conflicting versions.

Section 10

Images and photographs

Performer images are used primarily to help visitors recognize and distinguish profiles.

An image may be corrected or replaced when:

  • it depicts the wrong person;
  • the attribution cannot be verified reliably;
  • a clearer or more appropriate public profile image becomes available;
  • the image creates a legitimate privacy or safety concern; or
  • another valid reason warrants review.

If a reliable performer image cannot be used, LustIcons may use a category-specific or generic placeholder instead.

If the issue is specifically about ownership or copyright in an image, please use our DMCA & Copyright Policy.

Section 11

Correction is different from removal

A correction request asks us to fix information that is inaccurate, outdated or wrongly attributed.

A removal request asks us to consider whether information, an image or an entire profile should remain on LustIcons even when the issue is not simply factual accuracy.

Examples of removal-related concerns may include:

  • privacy concerns;
  • safety concerns;
  • requests to remove a profile;
  • requests to remove particular information;
  • requests to replace or remove an image; or
  • other individual circumstances requiring broader review.

Those requests are handled through our Content Removal & Review Requests process.

You may use [email protected] for both factual profile corrections and broader content-review requests. We will distinguish the type of request during review.

Section 12

Copyright complaints are separate

A factual correction request is not the same thing as a copyright claim.

If you believe material appearing directly on LustIcons infringes copyright that you own or are authorized to represent, please use our separate DMCA process.

Copyright and DMCA-related communications should be sent to:

[email protected]

Full instructions are available in our DMCA & Copyright Policy.

Section 13

Editorial independence

Correction decisions are based on accuracy and available evidence, not commercial relationships.

Affiliate status does not determine whether:

  • a factual correction is accepted;
  • a platform link remains on a performer profile;
  • an alias is added or removed;
  • an identity connection is retained;
  • an image is replaced; or
  • information is corrected or removed.

A platform or performer should not receive different factual treatment simply because a commercial relationship exists or does not exist.

Section 14

Profiles continue to change

Corrections are one part of LustIcons’ broader maintenance process.

Profiles may also be updated independently when:

  • new public accounts are discovered;
  • older links stop working;
  • new aliases become established;
  • additional reliable sources become available;
  • a scheduled research review is completed; or
  • our internal quality checks identify something worth revisiting.

Correcting an error today does not mean the profile will never need another update in the future.
