Frequently asked questions about Alternative
What does Alternative mean on LustIcons?
On LustIcons, Alternative is a controlled discovery niche used when explicit alternative-model or creator positioning. Classification is based on recurring or explicit public evidence such as profile text, tags, creator descriptions or documented content, not on a single weak clue.
How is Alternative different from Goth?
Alternative and Goth are separate LustIcons classifications. Alternative is used when explicit alternative-model or creator positioning. Goth is used when explicit recurring goth identity or aesthetic. A performer can appear in both when each classification is independently supported.
Does one appearance qualify a performer for Alternative?
Usually not. LustIcons looks for recurring or explicit public evidence before assigning Alternative. A one-off appearance, costume, post or scene is normally insufficient unless the performer clearly and repeatedly self-positions around the niche.
